Hinchingbrooke School Presents: Charlie And The Chocolate Factory
PAC | Performing Arts Centre Hinchingbrooke School, Huntingdon, United KingdomBased on the famous novel by Roald Dahl, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory features an original score composed by Marc Shaiman with lyrics by Shaiman and Scott Wittman (Hairspray) and a book by David Greig. The score also pays homage to the Leslie Bricusse/Anthony Newley score from the 1971 film with songs from the motion picture including Candy Man, I've Got a Golden Ticket, Oompa Loompa Song, and Pure Imagination. The world-famous Willy Wonka is opening the gates to his mysterious factory…but only to a lucky few. Young Charlie Bucket and four other golden ticket winners will embark on a life-changing journey through Wonka’s world of pure imagination including chocolate waterfalls, nutty squirrels and the great glass elevator, all to be revealed by Wonka's army of curious Oompa-Loompas.

The Kitchen Cabinet is a BBC Radio 4 programme hosted by Jay Rayner in which members of the public can put questions to a panel of experts about food and cooking. It is recording in front of a live studio audience and we here at the PAC | Performing Arts Centre, we have the honour of hosting it this March.

Haunted Hinchingbrooke House: Royals & Regals
Hinchingbrooke House Brampton Road, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, United KingdomCome and join local paranormal author Mark Egerton at Hinchingbrooke House for a visual tour of some of Huntingdonshire's most iconic buildings. All the buildings discussed are alleged to be haunted and you will be truly amazed by the rich and famous people who have either lived or stayed in them . This will then be followed by a Walking Tour around this beautiful and historic Tudor country house. We will be visiting rooms not normally available to the general public and all guests will receive complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits along with a 33 page, A4 colour brochure as a souvenir of their visit.
