An Evening with Mark Crossley Former Premiership Goalkeeper
Mark Crossley started his footballing career at Nottingham Forrest FC in 1987 as a trainee, under the management of a certain Mr Brian Clough. Amongst Mark's many hilarious recollections of his life in football, he provides a fantastic insight into one of the most charismatic and perhaps the greatest manger in the game’s history. Mark was a huge favourite with Forrest fans and made just under 400 appearances in thirteen years with the club, becoming first-choice keeper at the start of the 1990-91 season. He was granted a testimonial match during the 1999–2000 season which was played in front of 15,000 supporters. He was finally released from Forest, against his will, in 2000 as the club's financial troubles required them to reduce the wage bill. Mark subsequently played for Middlesbrough, Fulham, Sheffield Wednesday and Oldham Athletic. He has also represented Chesterfield as a player and coach and coached at Barnsley and Notts County. He is the only goalkeeper to stop a Matthew Le Tissier penalty kick and also remains one of only three goalies to save a penalty in the FA Cup Final, against Gary Lineker in 1991. Mark was a regular in the Welsh international squad, but served as understudy to Neville Southall, and then Paul Jones. He started only eight games. His most memorable moment with the national team was Wales' 4–0 win over Scotland.

Geoff Norcott | I Blame The Parents
PAC | Performing Arts Centre Hinchingbrooke School, Huntingdon, United KingdomGeoff Norcott “I Blame the Parents” Geoff presents his fourth UK tour following on the back of ‘Conswervative’, ‘Traditionalism’ and ‘Taking Liberties’. This time Geoff talks less politics (alright, there will probably be a bit), but this brand-new show will mostly explore personal responsibility, parenting and who should take the blame when things go wrong. Raised on a south London council estate by two maverick parents, there’s plenty he has to sift through. His Dad was a trade union man who obsessed over stocks and shares. His mum was a closet chauvinist and far too frank on the subject of sex. Now with a child of his own, Geoff spies a one-off chance for his family to finally get it right and produce a balanced human being, but can he filter out his own b******s before it gets to his son? Geoff has just released his debut book “Where Did I Go Right” plus Radio 4 has just commissioned him for a stand up show called ‘Well Classy’ 'He has become one of our most refreshingly funny comedians of any stripe' Dominic Maxwell, The Times 'A class act with a mature, sharp take on modern politics' Sunday Times https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWElRfbffdU

Rich Hall | Hoedown Deluxe
PAC | Performing Arts Centre Hinchingbrooke School, Huntingdon, United KingdomRich Hall : Hoedown Deluxe Rich Hall’s comedy/music locomotive keeps on rollin’. Ever-evolving, ever-changing, Rich’s combination of keen acerbic stand-up combined with spit and sawdust alt-country lyricism is a “win-win” (GUARDIAN), as sold out crowds across the UK have attested. Fans keep returning because this show goes where other comedians wouldn’t dare: Barrow-in-Furness for example. Rich’s acclaimed BBC4 documentaries (most recently Rich Hall’s Red Menace) and his Radio 4 series Election Breakdown have established a whole new legion of followers. He’s also a stalwart of QI and Have I Got News For You. But seeing the Hoedown is a whole different experience. Gut-busting, rib-tickling, toe-tapping, and shit-kicking, Rich Hall’s Hoedown Deluxe covers the full anatomical spectrum. ‘Vital and incredulously angry…Hilarious’ The Scotsman Running time: Doors 7.30pm Show 8.00pm Finish 10pm
