Little Mermaid The Ballet

Perfect for children to watch a full ballet. Ariel is a spirited young mermaid with a thirst for adventure. Longing to find out more about the world beyond the sea, Ariel visits the surface and falls for Prince Eric. Following her heart, she makes a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, to experience life on land. Huntingdon Philharmonic Orchestra presents: Nature’s Symphony

Mendelssohn’s Hebrides Overture evokes the wild seascapes of Scotland, capturing the awe and mystery of the Hebrides islands. Dvořák’s Cello Concerto is rich with lyricism, inspired by the composer’s love for the natural landscapes of America. Brahms’s Symphony No. 2 rounds off the program, a work filled with warmth and pastoral serenity, often referred to as his “sunny symphony,” reflecting the calm and beauty of the natural world.
Hinchingbrooke House “Royals and Regals”
Hinchingbrooke House Brampton Road, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, United KingdomJoin us at Hinchingbrooke House where we will be taking a Visual Tour of some of Huntingdonshire's most iconic buildings. All of these buildings are alleged to be haunted and you'll be truly amazed by the rich and famous people who have lived in, or stayed in, them. This will then be followed by a walking tour around this beautiful and historic Tudor country house. We will be visiting rooms not normally available to the general public and all guests will receive complimentary tea/ coffee and biscuits, along with a 33 page A4 colour brochure as a souvenir of their visit. We are again hosting internationally acclaimed artists using the superb Bosendorfer concert grand piano, donated to the school by old pupils in memory of former music director Kenneth Brown. Tonights performance will be Jana Jakovljevic on the violin, with Richard Zhang on the piano.
Christmas Wreath Workshop
Hinchingbrooke House Brampton Road, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, United KingdomSpend an enchanted evening creating a beautiful Christmas wreath, in the historic Hinchingbrooke House, with foliage from its grounds. Get your festive season off to the perfect start with Christmas music, a fully licensed bar, complimentary mince pies and mulled wine on arrival, plus a complimentary glass of Bucks Fizz or orange juice. The beautiful foliage used is grown on the grounds of Hinchingbrooke House, or locally sourced, and we provide all equipment including the ring, green moss, seasonal foliage and beautiful coloured ribbons, as well as accessories such as cinnamon sticks, dried fruits and berries. You're welcome to bring any festive extras you'd like to add such as baubles, specific ribbons, or fairy lights and we'll endeavour to show you how to incorporate them into your design. Don’t worry if you are a beginner, we provide expert guidance every step of the way with our florists and local Notcutts staff Beth and Gemma. We can even show you how to transform your wreath into a stunning Christmas table decoration, if you so wish. £40pp including all materials, expert tuition and mulled wine and mince pies on arrival. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the workshop starts at 7:30 pm. Workshops last for approx. 2.5 hours. Proceeds go to projects at Hinchingbrooke House and Hinchingbrooke School.
