Ralph Vaughan-Williams: Let All the World in Every Corner Sing Let All the World in Every Corner Sing is a delightful choral anthem composed by English composer Ralph Vaughan Williams in 1911. Based on a poem by George Herbert, this piece invites you to marvel at the beauty and splendor of the natural world. Gerald Finzi: In Terra Pax In Terra Pax is a serene and contemplative choral masterpiece composed by Gerald Finzi in 1954. This beautiful Christmas cantata tells the story of the Nativity. Michael Tippett: Spirituals from A Child of Our Time Tippett’s “Spirituals” from “A Child of Our Time” is a deeply moving and emotionally charged choral work, composed in response to the tragic events of Kristallnacht in 1938. Edvard Grieg: Peer Gynt Suites (narrated) The narrated Peer Gynt Suites offer a unique and immersive experience of Edvard Grieg’s beloved music. Bringing Norwegian folk tale to life, it is based on Henrik Ibsen’s dramatic poem “Peer Gynt,” and serves as a musical depiction of the protagonist’s adventures and introspective journey.   Doors open at 3:30pm

The Hinchingbrooke Bosendorfer Piano Concerts 2023 - 2024Welcome to the seventeenth series of concerts at the PAC | Performing Arts Centre, Hinchingbrooke School, Huntingdon. We are again hosting internationally acclaimed artists using the superb Bosendorfer concert grand piano, donated to the school by old pupils in memory of former music director Kenneth Brown. Friday January 26th 2024: Katya Apekisheva Trained at the fabled Knessin Music School in Moscow and prizewinner in the Leeds international competition, Katya has become one of Europe's foremost pianists. She is greatly in demand for solo and ensemble work and has performed concerto soloist with some of the world's leading orchestras. Her programme will include music by Schubert and Liszt.

Come and join us as Hinchingbrooke School's talented students perform the classic musical Annie. In 1930s New York City, an orphan named Annie lives a “hard-knock life” at an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie dreams of being reunited with her parents and escapes the orphanage to try and find them. Annie discovers a new family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy. But Miss Hannigan, alongside fellow baddies Rooster and Lily, hatches an evil plot to manipulate Annie and Oliver Warbucks. Based on the popular comic strip and adapted from the Tony Award winning musical, Annie JR. delivers the classic story that will leave you grinning from ear to ear. Doors open 6pm, Show Starts 7pm
